A friend of mine suggested this restaurant. It has lived up to the expectations. All the dishes that we tried were good. I loved the Fried rice. Spring rolls were surprisingly good with the dipping. Curry puffs were similar to Indian samosa. Drunken Noodles were okay. The service was good. The staff were very knowledgeable. It has got a reasonably good ambience. I was very hungry and the food here satisfied my hunger. I was very happy with the food here.

Craving Thai food and I read good reviews about this place. Nice decor and friendly staff. Makes you feel like I was a regular when I walked in. Nice selection of food choices but man, inflation sucks.. Little pricey then some of the other Thai places I've been to. Started with Thai style fried pork belly as appetizer, order Pad Thai, Masaman gai (chicken). Fried pork belly was way better than I expected, nice flavor and tender. I expected to be little tough but it was not. Pad Thai was probably one of the best I've tasted and pretty good portion size. Massaman was also yummy, one of the best I've had also. I ordered Thai hot it it was more like medium. Waitress did tell me their batch of Thai chili is not hot as prior. Little on the sweet side but still full of flavor and couldn't stop eating. Over all food was excellent and staff was very friendly. I definitely come back here try some other dishes. Oh they have Pho.. I was tempted but decided not to.

The entrance is unassuming and is a lengthy tour of Thai culture through various historical and artistic representations. This is a family run restaurant that represents Thai flavors well. The decor demonstrates a cultural pride of Thailand. The food is fairly priced and the lunch specials have some great options. The owner was friendly and spoke about his love for sharing Thai food with others. The food arrived in a timely manner and tasted delicious. Panang curry was spicy, yellow curry was flavorful, Pad Thai was consistent and not too sweet and drunken noodles were good, except were not quite as soft as they should be. I do not think they were made fresh. The Thai tea tasted strong. There does not seem to be air conditioning as two industrial fans were working to cool the space. Overall a good experience and will definitely return for the quality and authenticity of the dishes.

I've heard a ton about Cafe de Bangkok from various friends and Yelp mutuals, so I thought I'd stop on by. The atmosphere is spacious and authentic, if not a bit dark and dated. The service was sparse due to the amount of people in the place but when of the 2 ladies came around they were very sweet. My Dad got the Pad Gra Pow, and I got the Pad See Ew. The food took quite a bit to come out, but that wasn't an issue was we weren't in a rush. The food was piping hot and tasted very authentic. The flavors were on point, and I appreciated how the meat (I got pork, my Dad got chicken) was fresh and not that fatty variety sometimes used by Asian restaurants. I'll definitely be back and try some other dishes, but I was pretty satisfied with today's lunch.

Two ladies out for lunch. I saw images of the salad roll and knew what I wanted. I declined the avocado in favor of shrimp. It was memorable beyond measure! Packed with all the usual veggies in a spring roll, but on steroids. Tons of tender shrimp, lettuce, carrots, cabbage all done in matchsticks, wrapped in mint and lettuce and secured with rice paper roll. I know there were noodles in there and other goodies . You're served two fat rolls, nicely cut in half with peanut sauce and a sweet sauce that totally sold me. I would enjoy a bowl of the peanut sauce, all by itself it was so good. They just finished the decor, new banquettes by the window and tables and chairs in the middle . All very neat and functional. Service was prompt and the servers very knowledgeable. We were there 5 minutes after it opened and nearly all the booths were taken, which is testament to how good the food is. You are asked about the heat level as well, thank you! I've eaten here before and will again, such a treat!!

Service was good. Slow so it was easy to get service. Food came out real fast. Massaman Curry was good. A bit too sweet for my liking. I should have also gotten it spicier to counteract the sweetness. Cute location. If I'm ever on that side of town I'll try it again.

My husband and I both had Cafe de Bangkok bookmarked for quite some time and finally got the opportunity to stop by for dinner. We had gone in the late afternoon, around 4:30pm on a Saturday. As expected, they weren't very busy but had more people comeing in as it grew closer to 5pm. Our sever made some recommendations from their menu; we went with the Yellow Curry with chicken (mild / medium), Guay Teaw Nam Tok (hot), and roti bread. The curry was nice and thick with a good amount to chicken and potatoes, it also had really good flavor. I typically don't like much spice but agreed with the recommended mild/medium spice level as it added a nice kick. My husband really enjoyed the noodle soup. It had a nice broth that had a good balance of spiciness and tartness, it came with a nice filling amount of noodles and pork/meatballs. Overall, we were very satisfied with our food. Their menu consists of a lot of the traditional items you'd expect to see at a Thai restaurant but they have some that I've never heard of before as well. I'm looking forward to returning to dine here again!

You know it's good when your take out order makes them question if you're having a party, when really it's just you and your spouse hungry! The food here is VERY GOOD! Honestly, my only criteria for good Thai food is green curry because I love it so much, and it's very good here. We ordered for pick up, and the interior is clean and spacious. There is lots of parking outside as well. Our dinner: Green curry, mild spice with chicken Friend spring rolls Pad Kee Mao with pork, no spice Pad See Ew with chicken, no spice And Jumbo fried rice Thai food is generally expensive so we spent a pretty penny here, but so worth it!

Food: the curry soup was so tasty and the chicken satay was so good too! Good size portions Drinks: I ordered the milk tea and they were able to make it less sweet for me which was nice Ambiance: cute place with Thai decor Parking: in front of restaurant- very easy Service: our server was so sweet, I think her name was Erica
